As recent President of Lee-Scott Academy SGA I was appalled to hear of this discrepancy in the local economy. I am devastated to hear that the new administration has brought such absurd changes to our tradition. Mr. Cantrell is a science teacher by popular label, however, he has also taught the meaning of capitalism through his experiences. Asking Mr. Cantrell to stop selling drinks and hard candy is like asking Coach Maddox to not win a championship or Mr. Samford to not make decisions that could enhance The Academy experience. Mr. Cantrell's drinks have been a staple to the Lee-Scott culture and tradition. Taking this away has saddened me. It only took a small amount of time to destroy one of our small traditions. Just think what will happen if the larger traditions are stripped from the students. Please make the right choice by revoking your heart breaking decision. Thank you

This is absurd. As a '15 Alum, hearing of Mr. Cantrell's drink sale suspension makes me sick. If the United States of America is known for anything, it is capitalism. Bill Cantrell is a hard working, Blue-Collar Man living out the American Dream. Bill Cantrell could have a much more lucrative job with his background in forestry and ecology management but he is focused on the building of character, discipline, and the enhancement of today's youth through the outlet of education. Bill Cantrell Is a veteran of the United States Navy, further exemplifying the character and selflessness of this man. I charge you, Lee-Scott to suspend the suspension on Bill Cantrell's drink sales.
