Why no (plausible) response from Ms. Swenson or the Board?
Do we really not matter? Are they shopping for a bigger rug?

Mr. Allen is so hilarious, once he snuck up on me and made a pig-ish snort in my ear, my friends and I were laughing for five minutes! He is so nice and always makes you smile! Why anyone would get rid of him, I don't know. BRING HIM BACK

Mr. Allen always remembered me when I visited Duchesne, even after my daughter left the school. I hope the Duchesne Community (School, Faculty, students, alumni, parents and Board) will be able reach an understanding where Mr. Allen can return to protect "his kids" while they are at school.

Where is Mr. Allen! Because of his iconic stature with past and present students and the admiration of their parents, his quick departure from the Duchesne campus has many people questioning what has happened. Our 8th grade daughter has been greeted by him every day for 10 years so this is a huge loss. Hopefully this can be resolved before Thanksgiving. What a gift this would be for the Duchesne family!

I can't imagine Duchesne without Mr. Allen. He was the first person we saw each morning when dropping my children for many, many years and it always made me feel good. Great service and loyalty are rare qualities and are is to be rewarded not disregarded.

I am shocked and saddened by Mr. Allen's departure. And even more so by the insulting email put out yesterday by the administration at Duchesne. Mr. Allen was a part of the Duchesne community. We trust him with our kid's safety. This event and the handling of it is yet another example of the corrosion of the Sacred Heart values that is growing at Duchesne.

And let's not forget about Mrs. Gleaves. She was the first blow to the faculty/staff!

As a parent of former graduate and a past Parent Association President, my first question is Why? I attended a private girl's school for 12 years during which my father was a teacher then the headmaster. Growing up "on campus" allowed me to see what the administration deals with on a day to day basis. The seemingly swift decision made regarding Mr. Allen and the lack of communication to the parents and student body is not the way to promote unity. More important is the lack of respect currently shown to your faculty and staff. I assure you they are feeling scared and worried they will be next. My suggestion is to first call a study body meeting and explain what has happened and why you chose to let Mr Allen go. Second, have an evening meeting for the parents. Hiding and not addressing the situation only subjects the campus to a lot of gossip and a and very unhappy atmosphere. Without any sort of explanation, I must assume a horrible mistake has been made!

Who would allow this to happen?? A man who dedicated his life to DASH should not be treated in such a manner. This has made me change my donations to DASH to be the equivalent to how much respect and compassion was shown to Mr. Allen!!

Consistency is a fundamental component of any education system and Mr. Allen demonstrated this trait daily to all who arrived at Duchesne. His removal from school clearly sends a message that regardless of your dedication, you too can be eliminated. Seems as though we're teaching our children the wrong lesson.

Everyone feels like they are walking on eggshells with the heartless firings and hush hush atmosphere. How did a place of love and kindness be so brash and inconsiderate?
Mr. Allen we want you to know that we love you no matter what and you are a true symbol of what sacred heart is. We miss you so much already. Please bring him back! Seriously bring him back and pay him double for all the betrayal and I just can't imagine how heart broken he must feel... I'm sad for him and our community.
Did you know Mr Allen came to work the week both of his brothers died? Another time school raised money for his surgery when he had a heart attack! We cared about him not having health insurance..,and he came back to take care of "his baby girls"....he was truly dedicated!! Protected girls at car wash!!He knows everything and everyone by name. So friendly and such a diligent person. It's just not the same!! It's like the tree falling!!!
Do the right thing!!! Being a leader sometimes means admitting you are wrong!

Not many teachers or staff at Duchesne would wholeheartedly say good morning or talk to you when you had a bad day. Mr. Allen was one of the few people who would really help whenever he could. His personality really made Duchesne more enjoyable and I can't find a single flaw with the man. It's a pity that the people who fired him couldn't see what made him an irreplaceable part of our community. But then again, most of the staff aren't even that great.

Mr Allen is one of the most revered and respected human beings ever associated with Duchesne. During the 14 years my daughters attended DASH I never once had any concerns about their safety and well being under the loving and watchful eye of Mr. Allen. He is a treasure, part of what makes DASH a unique and special experience. He knows every student by name including their parents. Besides doing his job as an excellent security guard, Mr Allen genuinely cares about the people he sees every day and he loves and respects Duchesne and everything it represents. I remember how he always went beyond the call of duty to ensure everyone's safety and to keep things runnning smoothly. When I had a flat tire once in the carpool line he changed my flat tire! I am in shock and disbelief that , evidently, he was removed from his job in such an abrupt and harsh manner. This is totally out of line with the Sacred Heart goals. The DASH administration now as the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the proper way to correct an injustice.
