I graduated from Duchesne in 1998 and remember Alan fondly. He should be reinstated and given a permanent position at Duchesses.

Mr. Allan is someone who loves Duchesne and all it represents. He is a kind, loving, compassionate man who was dedicated to Duchesne. He made it his mission to know everyone on campus. I can think of no greater person to have at the entrance to keep the school safe. I am so saddened to hear of this news. He is irreplaceable and this is simply poor judgment by the administration. I am truly disappointed by this decision and feel it is a huge mistake. My heart is saddened.

This is heart breaking. I am the class of 1975 and my daughter 2012. He kept her safe. Safety was very important to me. He understood my concern and watched over her every day. The person that did this should be ashamed.

Getting to know Mr. Alan was a very positive part of my experience attending Duchesne from grades 9-12. He was always so kind and in a good mood. It not only brightened my day but my mother's as well when she would see him during carpool. You could always tell he loved the girls and taking care of us and making sure we were safe. Duchesne will not be the same without him.

The best part of my day in high school was seeing his smiling face in the mornings. It breaks my heart to hear he was terminated.

I've known Mr. Alan since I was 5 years old. Ever since my first day of kindergarten, he has always said hello to me in the halls and any other time I saw him. He is an important part of Duchesne and he has always loved and protected us no matter what.

Mr Alan has dedicated his life to the girls at Duchesne. Part of the reasons I still visit is to see him! I cannot support an institution that would act so unforgivably to a member of the staff that all students, faculty and staff revered and respected.
Mr. Alan does not deserve treatment like this, bring him back, back to Duchesne where he belongs!!!

Even though I only attended Duchesne for two years I have the fondest memories of Mr.Alan. I urge Duchesne to reconsider because he is the kindest soul.

I can not even remember how long I've know Alan. He's been a fixture at my beloved DASH and his sudden and unexplained departure is a detriment to current and future DASH girls. He has been our "protector" and has loved us as his family from day one.

This is a tragedy. He was wonderful man and very good to my girls. Someone wasn't thinking before they made this move to let him go.

I only went to Duchesne for high school. Mr. Alan was still such a great memory I have looking back on Duchesne, even though I had not been there since middle school. He genuinely loved everyone and I felt safe having him there at Duchesne. It was so evident how much he cared about the school and its students and faculty.

Alan is one of the best people I've ever known, this was unjust, he does not deserve to be thrown out of a school that he committed himself to for 28 years!
Bring Alan back home where he belongs!
Just maybe whoever made this brilliant decision didn't think anyone would question this move, guess what, the man is loved and hopefully people will speak out, otherwise the Duchesne you love will be a distant memory soon! Sacred Heart?
