We respectfully request that RISD table the current MPE Expansion proposal for additional classrooms and use the 2013-2014 academic school year to diligently and thoughtfully gather an additional year of data to prove and/or reinforce the need for such an expansion. Additionally, we request that this academic school year be used to thoughtfully explore solutions for the additional needs and modifications for parking, traffic flow, cafeteria size and gym size. Needs and modifications that would be necessary if an expansion did take place. We request this for the long-term benefit of the school and for its students, as well as to avoid potentially over-building for a problem that currently looks more like a statistical anomaly.
