I withdrew my child from MPCS because of the “safety” procedures and protocols. I implore the administration if MPCS to stop the hemorrhaging of families and staff leaving by staying true to the foundations of Waldorf education. We are a charter and through that freedom we are not beholden to Jeff Co School Board threats about reducing price per pupil. It saddens me that MPCS is now contributing to the same angst and fear that every other traditional public school is. Anthrosophy is an important part of the whole child. Why does it all of a sudden not matter?

I’m an educator and do not support requiring developing children to re-breathe their own waste products in order to attend school. This practice is pointless at best and dangerous/counterproductive at worst. Please reconsider your policies. There is no need for people to wear masks unless they’re in the presence of an active infection for 15 minutes or longer. Humans must breathe fresh air in order to function normally. Thank you.

Strongly agree with this petition. Stop letting fear decide what is best for our children. Have some courage, do what's right!

As a Physical Therapist and a mom the three teens, I am fighting for the rights of EVERY child to return to normal and in person education! Open the schools and stop the lies and the fear!

All day in person schooling is desperately needed for the mental health of children. MPCS’s slow hybrid model is not sufficient enough.

Our family strongly agrees with this letter. We urge MPCS to reconsider their current restrictions and guidelines.
