Manchester City Football Club, with the backing of Sheik Mansour have been given a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to become a force in world football and perhaps create a glorious new era which would become the greatest in our history, leaving a legacy we long suffering fans have yearned for to our children and for generations to come. However, the financial superpower status bestowed upon us is just part of the equation we must solve. Having a manager capable of delivering us to the promised land is just as crucial. I like Mancini, but his track record is not convincing. I suppose the ideal choice would be Arsene Wenger - but 15 years younger. Imagine Wenger bringing youngsters through over the years as he has done at Arsenal, playing beautiful football, but armed with almost limitless financial power to bring the true world class players in to put the icing on the cake. Wenger is perhaps too long in the tooth now, but how about another manager, British, a man who cut his teeth at Preston, doing a tremendous job before being poached by Everton where, on a shoestring budget he has consistently turned out teams which fight for the cause and can play very attractive football despite rumours to the contrary. He has consistently been able to spot uncut diamonds and turn them into polished gems. He has had to put up with his very best players being poached, yet still he has guided Everton consistently to a high finishing position, an FA Cup Final and into the Champions League. Imagine Moyes with money to throw at a project! Mancini may prove to be the man, but I am not confident. I want the powers that be at MCFC to look at Moyes the man and his record over the years - including his loyalty - and then at the end of this season offer him the same opportunity we have been given - the once in a lifetime chance. Moyes for City! Please sign up if you agree and I will present this to Garry Cook.

The momentum behind this proposal has surpassed my initial expectations. It is encouraging to see such a clear consensus regarding the future direction of the club.

Moyes is a proper manager. He would do wonders with the budget we have. Tired of seeing us struggle against smaller teams.

Get him in the dugout ASAP. Mancini has had his time.

Everton fan here and I dread the day he leaves but you have to admit he would dominate with the funds you guys have access to. Absolute master at finding talent on the cheap.
