We the undersigned people in full consideration of the law on pubic decency, our personal constitutional rights and of the moral health of ourselves, our children, as well as of our neighbors and visitors to this city of like-mind are petitioning the city to remove the indecently exposed statue of David from route 198 where it is in plain public view to our innocent children as well as others.
The focus of this initiative remains the preservation of public decorum along our local thoroughfare. I am currently preparing formal correspondence to city officials to ensure our concerns regarding the visual landscape of Route 198 receive appropriate attention.
March 13, 2011
The momentum behind this request confirms that many residents share a deep concern for our public standards. This growing consensus strengthens our resolve as we prepare to present these views to the city officials.

Finally someone said it. It is completely inappropriate for children to have to see that while driving to school. Take it down.
