I wonder if The NYT had to pay 5 mil like the nfl had to pay Wells. If not Goodell needs to reimburse the league the difference. Goodell can afford it he makes 44 mil a year!!! If you put the core in New York and draw from that pool, you'll end up with no variety- common sense. Also, there should be evaluations of employee affiliations and balance every two years. Roster it to Super Bowl locations or something. Clear biased from even the most basic research.

Steps: Step one: move the league offices which hopefully slows down the league offices inflow of ex-NYJ executives. Step two: Fire all those ex-NYJ clowns Step three: The league needs to properly vet future executives and make sure they have the qualities that Goodell is lacking such as integrity! Also the league needs to set up a process so that this does not reoccur with one team over-populating the league offices. They would need to pay attention to Cleveland since that would be the closest city. They should also keep a eye on Cincinnati. But unless you move the league offices off of the N. American continent you are going to run into this issue. A state with no team would not be a solution either. I live in Driggs, Idaho and the closest NFL team is over 500 milers away. You should see the Denver fans that are around here. I invite them over so we can drink and watch the patriots trounce Peyton!

Funny, very little publicity today on ESPN and other major sports news outlets on American Enterprise Institute's (AEI) independent study of the Wells Report. AEI said the Wells Report was deeply flawed and did not prove any deflation of the balls were deliberately done by anyone in the Patriots organization. The hatred for the Patriots and Brady blinds people to the facts. The Wells Report refers to one of the ball attendants referring to himself as the "deflator" in a May, 2014 text. So looking at over a year of text messages from this guy they found one text message they could twist to the conclusion the NFL wanted. All other texts referring to deflating balls was in Oct, 2014, after a Jets game. After that Jets game, the balls measured 16 PSI. Way over the limit. (I think the Jets somehow inflated those balls to screw Brady, but no investigation.) The Patriots wanted the balls inflated to the proper weight. Thus, the texts in the days after the game were in reference to that specific game. Finally, what has the NFL done to ensure the balls are properly handled after the referees check them in pregame? Answer: Absolutely nothing. Why: Because the NFL does not think it is a big deal.
