Just by the NFL offices being located in New York gives the appearance that the league office is biased toward a franchise that the commissioner previously worked for. For example a tampering charge against the New York Jets resulted in a $100,000.00 fine while a similar charge against another franchise resulted in a loss of draft selections. It's similar to the deflate-gate saga in New England. Another high-profile QB was fined for destroying his phone (non-cooperation) but nevertheless, Brady (NE) has to be suspended four games when the league did not prove anything else. Also, the New England franchised was fined and penalized draft selections as was the previous franchised noted Not named the New York Jets.
