• Increase arrival and departure security procedures
• Prevent visitors from "self-guided" tours

The school administration remains silent despite the clear disruption these tours cause during the final hour of class. Send an email to the principal today demanding they prioritize our privacy over visitor convenience. Tell three other parents to do the same so we can force a meeting on this issue.

I also do worry about having strangers everyday at school, specially because our school is so open and easy to get in and penetrate, which is great if it would be only us the families, but it is not the case. Of course the ideal would be having tours only on weekends. Moving to 4pm is already better. Thank you!
the security of our children should be of upmost importance, creating revenue and PR should come lower down the list. Please move the times of the tours to decrease safety and security risks for our children.
After 4 please
less people visiting make for a more secure, safer environment. less distractions are best for our kids and their education.
Just do it!
Less stress for the kids if moved back to 4pm
I think the best if the tour starts after 4,30 when all the kids are out of the school

All visitors should have their photo ID retained at the Welcome Desk before being given a visitor pass. Their details should be noted down too. This is commonly done in many schools and companies around the globe, and it is a good preventive measure. Do look into the possibility of visitors wandering off on their own AFTER they have stepped past the main entrance, and before they make it to the Welcome Desk. It would be ideal if a better sign in system for visitors is implemented AT THE MAIN GATE, before they enter.
