Midterms are in full swing, and as a collective the 2020 Human Services cohort is full of anxieties and stress. We ask that the annotated bibliography be due on 03/12/2020 at 11:59 PM. This is not due to laziness, yet frankly the inability to hand in quality work. We have been taught that collectively we can make a difference and must use that power sometimes— so this is that moment. Even though we are reassured that the grade isn't important, the quality of the work is. We have been using the groupme group chat as a means to vent and give each other tips and aim to further use each other as resources especially navigating the heavy dark waters that is our final thesis. So this petition is a product of hearing issues within the group and collective despair. We hope you understand and agree.

To push the due date back to Thursday would not only decrease everyone’s stress but exponentially better the quality of work that is being submitted. Since the annotated bibliography is such an instrumental part of the final thesis, we all really want to have a firm understanding of the assignment which we feel would be better accomplished given more time. Thanks!
