As grandparent of a 2017 Graduate, I looked forward to being at NSHS, but this date change decision causes real conflict & problems with my summer plans which include commitments involving a good deal of money. Please change the date back and help me to attend.

Most people already have vacations planned, and if they have family in other states, plane tickets are non-refundable!

Very short notice of moving the date in the first place. If u planned on moving it, it should wait til following year so new seniors will know at the first of year so they know how to plan ahead. You teach children how to plan ahead and schedule things. Something this big, should be planned out accordingly! There is NOTHING so important that seniors should have to be punished this year because of a last minute change in the boards plans! Move it back to the tenth, and then move to the seventeenth next year! Send out your little letters and notifications now for next year!

Please move graduation back to June 10 a lot of parents have things already planned and booked for senior week so I don't think it's a good idea to move it to June 17

Please keep graduation date June 10 2017 for all north Surry h.s. graduates. This is important to my nephew Chase Goodson who is a senior graduate at this school !!
