Every morning between 6and 6:20 am, an operator starts waking up the residents of Executive Towers in Business Bay with the invasive sounds of his gas-power leafblower. The noise is a high-pitched, whining drone that is continually throttled up and down. Leaf-blower noise at 50 feet ranges from 64 to 78 decibels. Noises that reach 85 decibels and above can be harmful to hearing so there's no doubt that the sound is invasive to residents' apartments overlooking the zone, especially that early in the morning. It ruins the peaceful, pleasant environment of the whole community.

This is a petition for residents to ask DAM management to actively make a change and either: 1) Move the operation of the leaf blower to no earlier than 8 am weekdays / 9 am week-ends or 2) Provide the operator with a quieter, electric-powered leaf blower.
