Central have has become increasingly dangerous as the weather gets warmer. A speed 2 or 3 speed bumps should solves the issue. Or we can wait for someone to die. Usually that's when people act after death is the motivator. Make these changes before your change forever.

I'm a Mountainside dog walker and very concerned for the children, my safety and the dogs I walk. I live on Woodland Ave. No one is following the speed limit signs. Same with Mountain Ave. There aren't enough signs for the speed limit. No one should be going 35mph through town. Its very concerning and something needs to change AND NOW! I've almost been hit 3 times in less than a year. SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE!!! Our Mountainside children need to learn the laws of walking and biking too! Thank you

A speed bump in front of 263 central Ave would be great as its near the Deerfield parking exit and new smaller children have moved in

It’s NASCAR every weekend up here by Trailside. The same 4 cars every weekend speeding around New Prov to Summit Lane to the circle, to WR Tracey past the Loop, down past Lake Surprise, out to Glenside Ave and down to Skytop to Coles to New Prov where it starts all over again. Going on for at least 3-4 years I believe. And always in that direction. Other neighbors feel free to chime in.

I live on Woodacres Dr. It's nearly impossible to leave my drive way 7:30- 9 am and 2:30 pm to after 4pm when the staff leaves. It is a 25 mph road not 40 mph as the cars are going. A sign showing the drivers their speed may help make them aware that they are SPEEDING

Also, please look into making the right turn from New Providence into Birch Hill Road safer. This intersection is potentially dangerous for pedestrians and bicyclists!!

I agree. A child just zipped across my car in front on me without stopping at corner of central ave and wood valley while I was driving straight on normal speed.
