I agree that we need to implement a female sub-quota, that said it needs to be based off of science rather than a blanket number across the state. In some areas populations are exploding because of low quota numbers and other areas the population has drastically fallen off due to increased quotas based off of deer population density rather than actual lion populations...lets do this right.

I believe we need to keep mountain lion as well as other predator management in place because its important they dont become like the wolves and start killing our elk and other herbivores we hunt. Ut also helps them to not enter cities and take kids, or pets. Keep the lion hunting!

I feel this would drastically affect deer and elk numbers. Hunting IS conservation and that means ALL wildlife needs managed

I think it is a great idea sub quota and pursuit season. We regulate cow elk to bull elk licenses and does deer to buck deer. Lion should be the same way.

As a houndsman, this makes great sense. A pursuit only season is just as rewarding as killing one.

A pursuit only season would be very helpful for training hounds and many houndsmen love the sound of the hound and not the thrill of the kill.

We find deer they have killed every year. We've heard them kill deer from our back porch at night. Even had one of our dogs get attacked by a lion in our yard.

There needs to be conservation for wildlife. If the hunters don't do it no one does.

Bad idea females should be harvested same way male lions should too. Not only do we need the females around to keep the toms around but they also keep the kittens coming and keeping the population going. So my opinion keep a limit to how many females are killed in a unit.

I would love to see this for all western states. I have over 30 years of interactions with mountain lions. Its disapointing to me to see their numbers so low. We search the so called " honey holes " only to find they are almost gone.. please save them if you don't no one will.

A female subquota makes sense for all parties involved in cougar management.
