This is a petition to encourage the local MPPs, the Minister of Transport (ON), and the Ministry of Transport (ON) to evaluate the appropriateness of single rider plated motorcycles onto the Provincial HOV lanes.  The petition sponsors would expect to furnish relevant empirical and technical data for council to formulate a recommendation to the MOT that single rider motorcycles (SRM) be allowed onto HOV lanes, without prejudice, with the end result being an amendment to the Highway Traffic Act.   At this moment in time, Ontario is the only jurisdiction not to have SRM to be included on HOV lane.  SRM are exempt from having 2+ persons onboard in regards to HOV lanes in all of the United States and in British Columbia, CAN.
