The hearing concluded and Motor City Bar is allowed to keep its doors open. It has been a long and draining struggle but I am relieved we finally reached the end of this fight. We will keep watching the situation closely to ensure things stay this way.

The feedback from our neighbors has been exhausting to process but I am grateful for every story shared about why this bar matters. I am spending my evenings gathering these accounts to present at the hearing because we deserve to keep this space alive.

I been going there for years and never had a problem. This place is great for the neighborhood and the people who work there are solid.
Ridiculous that they have to deal with this. The bar is a landmark at this point. Hands off Motor City!!!

Love the vibe there. Always friendly and never any trouble. Don't shut them down.
The SLA needs to focus on real issues instead of harassing a local spot that actually brings ppl together. Motor City is fine by me.

Motor City is a staple of the LES. Leave them alone.
I been going there for years and never had a problem. This place is great for the neighborhood and the people who work there are solid.
