Motion to Produce Student-Made Dress Codes (With Administrative Approval)

Literally got sent to the office for leggings when the boys can wear gym shorts that are way shorter than my skirt. It makes zero sense and honestly just makes us feel like we are doing something wrong by just having a body.

Why are the teachers even looking at us in places they shouldn't be looking?

I think a big change needs to happen. I'm sick of being dress coded for wearing the same thing a girl with a flatter chest wears. Just because I have a bigger bust doesn't mean I should be picked and prauded for it. I was dress coded three times in one day at washington you know how crappy that makes girls feel. We all have different bodies boys and girls instead of making us cover up our bodies and making us feel self conciouss and bad about ourselves we should express the differences in people.

Yes Emma. I think people should wear trousers and polos. T-shirts are ok unless they aren't obscene. Cartoon shirts like Simpsons, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, American Dad, Futurama, and South Park t-shirts are OK unless they aren't obscene like containing swear words. I would say for important dates and events across Greenwich and Greenwich event, you shouldn't wear t-shirts. People shouldn't wear jeans which are torn because the teachers don't wear them. If the teachers don't wear them, you shouldn't wear them too.

I think we should create our own, however, there should still be some limits to what some wear because some things may just be bad.

Yes oh my Gosh. I want to be able to express myself with the clothes that I wear. I don't want my choices to be limited by the dress code. I also want to be comfortable, I want to wear spaghetti straps not because I want to show off my shoulders but because they're comfortable
