Final supporters
Despite being a distinct Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta and contributing around $1200 in annual dues, the Alumni Epsilon Chapter is not allowed a vote on how that money is spent and that needs to stop. If you agree, then please sign this petition. If we can back up our proposition with support from an overwhelming number of members, our argument will be made that much stronger. Alumni are very engaged members of Sigma Tau Delta. They foster a mentoring atmosphere for undergraduates and represent what students hope to achieve after college. They are absolutely an important element of the society and as dues paying members, should have a vote.
Alumni are a necessary part of Sigma Tau Delta in the guidance and mentorship they can provide. As paying members, they deserve a vote in the decision making body of the organization.
Networking is an essential part of the modern professional world, and Alumni Epsilon contains very valuable contacts for that networking. We are a segment of the Sigma Tau Delta quilt and we want to contribute.
