We the undersigned Khalsa Council Members put forth this:

Motion for Advisement Regarding SSSC Election

October 10, 2025 Updated December 10, 2025

Whereas the SSSC Board has recognized that it is out of compliance with Article 2.4 of its Bylaws requiring that an election be held approximately every 2.5 years, and

Whereas the SSSC Board passed a Motion on August 20, 2025, that it would approve a new Election/Selection process no later than December 2025, and

Whereas there is an approved Automatic Electorate from November 3rd, 2021,

Now, therefore, the Khalsa Council advises the SSSC Board to start the election process within 30 days of the date of this Advisement using the current SSSC Election Policy as amended through November 3, 2021, with the modification that the electorate will consist of only the automatic electorate.

------------------------------------------------------------

The SSSC Election Policy as amended through November 3, 2021, contains the following language:

A person who meets any of the following four criteria is automatically a member of the Electorate:

1. SDI Minister in Good Standing, or

2 An active Member of the International Khalsa Council, or

3. An active Professional Trainer in the Aquarian Trainer Academy, or

4. An active Lead Trainer in the Aquarian Trainer Academy.

Point of Clarification: When this motion was first proposed at the October 2025 Khalsa Council meetings, the assumed number of seats up for election was 7. Even though the SSSC Board told the Khalsa Council in December that they had reduced the size of their board, this does not materially impact the motion. This motion is calling for the election of the 7 seats that were due in the last year, for the 15-member board that has existed since 2013.
