This petition is part of Project Motherbound. A project I, MVS, am starting. I am from the UK and have only been able to play the game via... not so legal... methods. Project Motherbound aims to get Earthbound for SNES on the Wii's Virtual Console service for both Eastern and Western audiences (including countries where it wasn't originally released such as the UK). I understand the copyright issues surrounding the game but would happily pay a few hundred points extra on my purchase to help Nintendo out with paying for these issues. If you also would like Earthbound (or Mother 2 as it's known in Japan) on the Virtual Console services, I urge you to sign this petition! If you've never played the game, sign anyway!
