Mother of peace বা শান্তির জননী হিসেবে এ বছর বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে শান্তিতে নোবেল পুরস্কার দেয়া উচিত বলে আমি মনে করি। বাংলাদেশের মতো একটি দেশ যে দেশটি অধিক জনসংখ্যার ভারে নুজ্জ্ব। সে দেশে উনি দুই লাখের বেশি রোহিঙ্গা শরণার্থীকে আশ্রয় দিয়েছেন। তাদের চিকিৎসা ও আবাসনের ব্যবস্থা করেছেন।
উনি চাইলেই তাদের পুশব্যাক করে অনিবার্য মৃত্যুর মুখে ঠেলে দিতে পারতেন। উনার এই মানবিক গুনের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা ও সম্মান জানানো উচিত।
নরওয়ের রাজধানী অসলোয় অবস্থিত নোবেল কমিটির কাছে আবেদন জানাচ্ছি বিশ্বে শান্তি রক্ষায় অবদান রাখার জন্য বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে এ বছর শান্তিতে নোবেল পুরস্কারে ভূষিত করার জন্য।
তাকে দেয়া সম্মাননা পত্রে যেন লেখা হয় Mother of peace বা শান্তির জননী।
