Include Morgan Reeves in SC Gubernatorial Debates
Dr. Morgan Bruce Reeves is the Green Party and United Citizens Party candidate for governor of South Carolina. Despite being the first candidate on the ballot, he is not being included in the televised gubernatorial debates alongside the Republican and Democrat candidates. The reasoning being given is that Dr. Reeves has not shown well in media polls leading up to the debates. Dr. Reeves believes that he has not been given a fair share of media coverage for those who are being polled to be familiar with who he is as a candidate. The lack of media coverage begets lack of voter knowledge begets low poll showings begets denial of entry into televised debates. Dr. Reeves has a plan to complete Reconstruction in South Carolina and allow South Carolinians to invest in the future of this state. He will bring jobs to the state by commencing construction of ethanol and solar power plants, a state-wide wi-fi infrastructure and a high-speed rail system. His education reforms will keep our children and communities safer while providing students the education they need to succeed in the jobs of tomorrow. Dr. Reeves needs your support to gain entry into the gubernatorial debates. The people themselves must speak up to let the state know they will not be bullied by big money politics and media biases and all candidates who have ballot access should be allowed to participate in all the debates. By signing this petition you affirm that you want to hear Dr. Reeves' viewpoints and responses at the gubernatorial debates so that you may make a fully informed decision on election day.
