I have put my son through a charter school and I have worked at a charter school for 8 years. It is an incredible valuable resource in our community and is in dire need of facility support to fulfill its mission. The stress and pressure our administrators have to endure to come up with the day to day funding let alone any big funding is a disgrace and taking away from our dear childrens education and future. I beg of our government to see the light and fund the facilitiy needs of our charter schools, it is only basic and decent...

WHEA has been the catalyst for a monumental change in my daughter. She went from being a shy girl to a confident young lady. Someone who was hesitant to speak to strangers to a well spoken educated person who is now able to speak in front of groups of people. I believe that being in a smaller school setting that allows for more one on one teacher to student time as well as self guided learning is the reason. My daughter is afforded the opportunity to study things that matter to her as well as to the world, not just memorize text from a book that she will out likely forget by the time she graduates.
Please consider funding charter schools.

I believe that WHEA Charter school receive the funding it needs and all charter schools. The children get a better education and get involved in their projects because they make it so interesting for them therefore they learn allot more and it sticks with them because it is a hands on project.

I am an educator from Illinois and have been researching schools for my children. We have nothing like WHEA by us. WHEA looks like an outstanding school offering unique learning opportunities for students. I would love for my own children to attend WHEA.

Facilities Funding for Charter Schools is necessary and only fair. Charter School Students are not second class students. Charter Schools generally do much more with much less.

Our WHEA school deserves the same benefits for CIP funds as other DOE schools. Our students excel in math, science, and english! Our teaching staff is super credible and goes to bat daily for our students!!!

This funding is so important to the future of the programs that have enabled so many students to become the well rounded people they are today. This funding is not about just helping a school, it is about supporting our kids!!
