The fact that this doesn’t appears to be a priority is disappointing.

My recommendation is to build 2 boat launching areas 1 between Homestead and Blackwater and 1 between Blackwater and Matheson hammock.

Up at 6:30 am, get ice, drinks, food etc etc, get to Matherson hammocks right before 9am, "CLOSED BOAT RAMPS" overcapacity! boating day over! What we need is more parking at least at these ramps for trailers if they don't want to build ramps

I’ve been turned away from my local marina (Homestead bay front ) multiple times this year just shortly after they open in the morning because the marina is “full” by 8 am. This is ridiculous! Taxes in Dade County are through the roof. I pay thousands of dollars in taxes every year to live in Dade County and can’t even launch my boat because the infrastructure sucks. There are too many people/boaters in Dade county and nothing is being done to increase capacity at the local boat ramps or to create New boat ramps. This situation honestly has me considering moving out of Dade County and taking my tax dollars elsewhere. Dade county seems to be the only county in the state of Florida with this ongoing problem. What good is it to have a paradise in your backyard if you can never use it/enjoy it. BUILD MORE PUBLIC BOAT RAMPS IN DADE COUNTY!!!!

Boaters contribute a lot of money into the local economy, the tax paid on the watercraft, accessories, we patronize local business etc. If this is to continue boaters need a place to launch if not there is no sense in expending all this money and you can't use your craft

Every property owner in Dade County pays into the FIND tax. (Florida Inland Navigation District). That tax money is supposed to be used to increase public access to the waterways for both motor and non-motorized boats. Miami and Miami-Dade County, please do so!
