The character of Dr. Janet Fraiser was introduced on Stargate SG-1 during the first season of the popular television show. Due to the quality of the writing and the wonderful acting, Janet Fraiser and Teryl Rothery fast became much loved figures in the world of Stargate and the Science Fiction genre all over the world. Teryl\'s outstanding dedication to her fans, her convention appearances and her contributions to Stargate SG1 companion books showed she cares as much about her fans as her fans care about her. Over the 6-years of the television series, we were glad to have learned more about Janet Fraiser (her work and her personal life), and fans of the character and the actress appreciated the screen time their favorite was given. Throughout the latest season of Stargate SG1 we could not help but notice, that apart from a few exceptions, Janet\'s role was somewhat reduced. We would like to encourage TPTB to increase the duties of Dr Fraiser at the SGC, and perhaps let her mingle with the SG teams off base as well, so that fans old and new can see what a great character Janet Fraiser is and what an asset Teryl Rothery is to one of science-fiction\'s greatest series.
