We're the only licensed shelter for parrots in the state of Iowa, and have been in operation for 24 years. We currently have fifty endangered exotic birds in care, and they require clean air to breathe. They no longer can live in the jungle because of human action. They need to be protected here, at least.

As a current 76 Township Trustee and property owner in 76 Township, I am vehemently against the proposed Hog Confinement by Ryan O'Toole. It will be a detriment to the community and businesses already located in the township. The air and water quality will be affected for years and years to come.

Iowa needs an immediate Moratorium on CAFOs . . .at least until our rivers and water bodies are cleaned up . . . impaired waters have increased over 200% in recent years as CAFOs have metastasized . . . a parallel trend line. . . .

Ardon Creek is a venue my whole family enjoys on a weekly basis in the Summer! It is important to keep the ambiance of this beautiful winery as priority. Absolutely a hog confinement would impact the environment many many people in our community and surrounding communities enjoy regularly.
