After what happened to Ben just goes to show anything can happen down that road. Even street lights should be set up too. What happened is extremely horrible, something needs to be sorted better sooner than later really.

After the death of Ben Roberts, a sixteen year old boy. More safety needs to be proposed to prevent issues like this in the future. The Rugby club is a general route for school students, their safety matters to the area.

After living in Weston Turville for my whole childhood up until the age of 18 I have never been allowed to walk up that road at night, the lack of street lights is horrible and you become completely invisible to drivers. People think it's fun and "no harm" to speed up that road but they forget it's in between two quite little villages and that anyone can be walking, riding bikes, on horses etc along there. Something needs to be done urgently

This needs to happen before it gets to late and other people lose there lives the council needs to wake up and look at all the roads in bucks and rethink the safety on each and every road. The rugby club runs for all ages and what if a 10 year old who lives in Aston Clinton has to get his/her parents to come pick him/her up and all because his parents don't feel it safe enough for him to walk home.

Adequate street lighting and traffic calming must be provided to avoid any further tragedies.

I used to live in the area & have personal experience of the risks caused by poor lighting & fast cars near the Rugby ground. This must change.
