The momentum behind this movement proves that the government can no longer ignore the isolation our seniors face in nursing homes. We are forcing the institutions that have failed our elders to finally pay attention.

Thanks for doing this. Its about time someone looked out for our elders.
My mom is in a home and she gets so lonely. It breaks my heart seeing her like this, we really need more resources for these people.
As a PSW a student, having mental health help for my future patients will be so good for them. All I want is for my patients to be happy, and this will be a big help.

Working in the courthouse and seeing my own family members deal with mental issues later in life, and I wholeheartedly agree with the need for more mental health care for seniors.

LONG OVERDUE. Seniors deserve way better than being ignored in these facilities.
