why should I have to change how my WHOLE friendgroup sits just so its "easier" or something to manage noise? lunch is the ONE time we get to talk with friends from any other class with "little to no" restrictions

This is a serious problem in the STEMM comunity I have expirienced this first hand we have 7 people at our table because someone was being left out! Now this rule has caused seperation of our table, if we could have even just eight people no one would be left out esspcialy not only one person! The amount of kids I see eating alone is heart breaking! I have a small friendship circle with mabey 10 people, and this rule is causeing us to have to decling people who want to sit at our table. And being told you cant sit with anyone is just heartbreaking and unessicary in the school enviroment!

This rule seems quite unusual. Ideally, this rule could've been more gradual. However, we were simply restricted from gathering with our friends at the tine we can talk to them face to face. Perhaps this is unnecessary, as including everyone and uniting friend groups is any student's desire. The admin have extended a drastic measure, perhaps to prevent chaos and calamity. For my friend, his old table pushed the limits of size with 11 students to his table, this lead to the table getting in trouble, and he ultimately left the table for good. Perhaps this measure was too far, as there are constantly new, unnecessary rules in place.

I wholeheartedly agree, Eli. Are there even any tables with more than 8 people, at least in the 8th grade lunch? (I remember my old table had 11, but when I left the table, 3 others left with me) I think a restriction on lunch table size makes sense, as my old table, pushing the limits with 11 people, got into trouble frequently and pushed me to leave the table to avoid it (about that, I may have to leave my current table again for the exact same reason), but 6 per table is just too low, and 8 people would make a lot more sense.

I also find this rule incredibly hypocritical as they constantly said in the past to not exclude people from tables (I'm pretty sure it was even covered in one of THE SUITE 360S which are only in this district) yet they add this rule in, literally forcing dozens of students to be excluded. In summary (of my last comment and this one), we suddenly discovered the most effective method of petitioning we ever had for an unknown reason, and the first thing we do is petition against one of the most hypocritical rules the school has ever put into place Great work. Sincerely, your local nerd

With the current rule of 3 to a seat, 6 to a table, anyone with a keen eye can notice the clear gap in between the people sitting at the table, a gap you could easily fit a person into. I personally believe that the rule should not be removed but be modified to fit 4 to a seat and 8 to a table.

We should be able to sit together with how many people we wish

This isn't right. Many students are getting kicked out because of this rule, and many people have been feeling down.

Why would she even do this anyway? Is she mad at the congestion at the lunch tables? I have no idea. This new rule is separating friends from each other in some of the only times they get to chat in the entire day. IT IS TIME WE LIFT THIS OPPRESSIVE RULE.

It is very dumb, covid is not a thing anymore and their will still be the same amount of people in the lunchroom, It will be just as loud.

Reverse engineered the link to this petition from a cropped image sent by Eli. What's with the sudden craze over this website (no, like seriously, all I can think of is either someone just discovered this or the school board ruled this as a valid site)? Also about the petition itself, I was completely unaffected as my table group has only 5 people (2 on one side, 3 on the other). I'm just signing this for everyone else (By technicality, there can be 12 to a table because each "table" is actually 2 tables and each of those tables have multiple usable sides)
