Final supporters
BHS students are given 5 minutes between classes. Last year, we were a 10-12 high school and only half the seniors were there at a time, and the hallways were manageable and 5 minutes for a passing time was a decent time. This year, however, we became a full 9-12 high school which made the hallways extremely crowded, and 5 minutes just does not suffice under those conditions, especially if you have a class in the E wing or the F/G/H wing and have to go all the way to the other side of the building, in a hallway jammed full of kids and it's not quite a quick walk.
I think the passing time should be increased from 5 minutes to at least 6 or 7 minutes so students are given sufficient time to go between classes, use the restroom, go to their locker, get a drink, etc.

Getting trapped in the hallway gridlock during the rush from the E wing to the H wing is becoming a daily nightmare for so many of us. I have been talking with friends who are constantly late and stressed because the current five minutes simply cannot accommodate the new school population. We are currently figuring out the best way to present these experiences directly to the administration.

Seeing this momentum grow feels like a relief because I know exactly how stressful those hallway crowds are for my younger siblings. It shows that so many of you are tired of the daily scramble to get to class on time.

seriously my teacher gives me detention every time im 30 seconds late and its not my fault the hallways are a nightmare
I am always late to classes because of the amount of people in the way. Also going to e to a wing is pretty time consuming, add on going to my locker to get class supplies

getting from the math hall to the gym in 5 mins is literally impossible if u walk at a normal pace. stuff is way too crowded.
