The amount of students attending GCU increases every year, and simultaneously the amount of parking decreases which makes no sense to me so....

We need more parking. Parking on the roof is not cool.

I just feel like my paid parking pass is going to waste because it's so hard to find parking. Very upsetting compared to last year. I love gcu. But this is really making this year beyond frustrating.

My sweet, dearest, soon to be fiancé was told to park in the ever so frightening neighborhoods of Missouri Ave due to lack of available parking. I CANNOT HAVE MY SHNOOKUMS POOKIE BEAR DIE BEFORE I TAKE HER LOVELY HAND IN MARRIAGE. For the love of my love and for the right of my pursuit in happiness with her, make more parking available. The most beautiful, radiant loving woman in the world should be treated like a queen, not like the dirt in the closed off half of the colter surface parking.

I understand that they would like to keep building more apartments for future students, but if they block off so many parking spacing, they need to make temporary new spots. It is ridiculous that sometimes it takes me almost 20 minutes just to find a parking spot.

I went to go purchase a parking permit at GCU and they told me they were all sold out. I asked what about people who just purchased a car or were late to purchase a permit? They told me that I can go park in a neighborhood off of Missouri. Sorry GCU, I will not put my life at risk and park in a very dangerous part of town. Open up spots in 27th. Put your students first. I refuse to park off of GCU campus.

I looked in the 29th ave parking garage for over half an out to find not a single spot available. I was forced to park in an "event parking reserved" spot. Then, I received a phone call threatening me to move my car in the next few days or I would get a parking ticket. So the $150 parking pass I paid for, along with the 10's of thousands of dollars in paying to go here, comes with another couple hundred dollar ticket, wow.

If we pay $150 we should not have to drive around looking for parking spots so that our cars are actually in the parking garage and not on the fifth floor. Might as well just make everything a dirt lot.

I say yes to more parking. I live on campus and being the busy soul that I am, I have to leave often to get where I am going. And when I come back there are no spots open. I think we need a little ticket or something to show who has left the parking garage and who hasn't because it's not fair that I have to drive around for 20-30 minutes to try and ind a parking spot in the grove. And then have to park on the 5th floor. I paid $150 dollars for covered parking. Emphasis on covered. Also... if I am graduating in a semester, I shouldn't have to pay 150 for my parking. I should pay half of it. Anyway, GCU needs to work on a lot of things. Great school. Love it. But....man, the logic. Let's build 27 volleyball courts and basketball courts, and bring more freshmen, but not think about parking, eating places, and how the library really needs renovation.

Not only is the car parking situation overcrowded, but the spaces are small for inexperienced drivers to dent my car while their trying to park their car. This parking issue has gotten way worse than last year, please fix this.

If you are going to add 2,000 more people to each freshman class every year at least build enough parking

I can never get a decent parking and my car is always dirty because of the dirty and rocks

I don’t understand why I have to pay $150, but yet still have to park my car on the 5th floor but first and second are for the events? How often do events even occur? Or build a parking garage for events alone. Parking needs to change!

It is ridiculous 4 students who had to pay that much money for the sparse parking that is available to them. GCU needs to reopen all of Colter, take event parking out of: 29th garage, Halo, and The Grove. Force them to park elsewhere, like in the fully opened Colter. We need to stop treating the visitors better than the paying students. Otherwise we are selling them a load of goods about the true experience here.

Five Score and 7 semesters ago, our forealumni paid with their hard earned money to turn this university into the thriving mini-metropolis of vapers and longboarders who purse an education at Grand Constructioneth University, Hereby I declare that the students of this fine establishment deserve to given just and equal parking opportunities.

They’re currently building another parking garage for those not aware. Not sure if it’s residents or commuter. It took my half an hour yesterday just to get out the parking garage, ridiculous. Pay $150 to park in the sun. It’s my last year here though so guess I’m just going to have to suffer through the last year. I leave an hour early just to deal with parking.
