Parking has become overcrowded and overbooked. I have a large vehicle that physically cannot fit in one spot let alone in a garage, and poses a hazard to cars parked near it, one that could have been avoided if more parking was available.

I will not complain about the parking permit prices as I know other schools charge way more but what I will complain about is the fact that they have sold too many parking permits for each garage and colter. I got my permit in colter this year and when I arrived I was very upset to see that they had blocked off over half of the parking available in colter. Even though over half of the lot is blocked off there was still too many parking permits sold for what was available. I believe GCU should only sell parking permits for the amount of spots available. Build another garage instead of another apartment!

I stopped parking in colter because I was tired of walking 20 minutes in the heat to get to class only to have my back drenched in sweat and smell for 4 hours straight. I started parking across the street from the south entrance, but it's hard to find spots to park there as well! I also had to fight the SDS office to get a permit to park on campus. These "regulations" are ridiculous.

I find it ridiculous that I paid to have covered parking in a garage but can hardly find a place to park on even the top level where there is no cover. I am definitely in support of this petition.

More parking for sure. I'm in the grove and even at times where it isn't busy and there should be free spots I end up going to the fourth floor in the very back of the grove garage.

GCU should've known that with building more housing they would obviously need more parking structures that don't require a 20 minute walk or the stress of finding a spot!!

It takes me 20 minutes to walk to my car, and I get a ticket every time I temporarily park close to unload groceries. How am I supposed to carry a few loads of groceries that far and back by myself? Amen to better parking!

My daughter paid extra money to have a covered parking permit for campus and she has trouble finding a spot on a regular basis. Campus needs to provide what they are getting paid for!!

We need more parking. It's an absolute joke that I have to circle the parking lot for 30-45 minutes after working a 10+ hour work day every day.
