We, the concerned and involved citizens of Erie, demand that the Board prioritize the addition of low-end housing within our neighborhoods and community.

As part of the town's commitment to the environment, we demand that the new developments use recycled materials such as old wooden paneling on the exterior of the apartments, stained vinyl flooring, and old leaky pipes. This quaint vintage style will add charm to Erie, reinforcing Erie as one of the best communities in Colorado.

To preserve our open space and Prarie Dogs, these new developments should be built within existing neighborhoods. We demand that the town use eminent domain to acquire land and raze a few single-family dwellings to make room for a few high-density structures within each community. This spreads the strain on our infrastructure throughout the town.

To add financial diversity that our neighborhoods so desperately crave, the Board should prioritize construction within the fancy-pants neighborhoods such as Vista Ridge, Candlelight Ridge, Colliers Hill, Northridge, and others.

There are many amateur biologists and entomologists in Erie, and low-end high density apartments like this provide an excellent environment for the study of a variety of vermin, roaches, ants, spiders, and other fascinating creatures.

As concerned residents of Erie, we demand immediate action from the Board to address these issues.
