Along with White Privilege, Autistic Disadvantagement is an issue in our country of the United States. A large number of people with autism or asd are disadvantaged in society. Struggling with getting meaningful employment, keeping a job, learning to drive, getting married, and living on their own. Even for individuals who appear to have "mild autism."
