Dear All,

Korea Telecom (KT) is failing to support its foreign customers. Currently if you want to use their mobile (Olleh) or internet services you must sign a contract in Korean. All of their service sms' are also in Korean. No translations exist so far. KT has many customers for whom Korean is not their mother tongue. Frequently these foreigners have recently arrived in Korea and have received no Korean language instruction in their home countries. It is simply unacceptable for KT to expect paying customers to sign a contract they cannot understand or bring a Korean friend to translate. It is KT's responsibility, not the customer's, to ensure that all of its communication is understood.
I would like you to join me in asking KT to ensure that their contracts are available in major foreign languages, such as English and Chinese. Furthermore if they have a foreign customer they should send them sms' in the language of the customer's choosing. These measures would not be particularly expensive for a major corporation like KT and would greatly improve consumer confidence.
Thank you for your time.
