Additional suggestion. Other cities use hockey rinks as dog zones in summer (st albert) and ball diamonds as dog zones in winter (sherwood park)
A great way to make use of existing spaces.

I would love to be able to bring my dog to the dog park but he is not great around high volume of other dogs. We would really benefit from smaller volume parks!!
