In response to the decision by Moray Leisure Centre to close the crèche, we would like the management to review this decision. We have all used and will make use of the crèche to enable us to keep healthy and fit. The Scottish government currently has two improving health initiatives entitled “Healthy Weight” and “National Physical Activity”. As mothers of young children, many of us would be unable to access the facilities within Moray Leisure Centre without a crèche and, as such, would struggle to maintain our fitness levels and a healthy weight. Many of us have husbands in the RAF. We rely on facilities such as the crèche to enable us to maintain fitness levels whilst our husbands are deployed for many months.
