I suggest all Christians demonstrate their support publicly with a simple gesture: application of the IgNobel winning cure for hiccups!

MISSING LINK - 1: "The geological record has so far provided no evidence as to the origin of fishes" - J R Norman, secular scientist at the Natural History Museum, London

1. No biologist has suggested a single missing link. 2. Complex creatures do show evidence of their antecedents. Have you never looked at trilobites? You can see how they have changed over time. The lower in the strata they are found, the less complex they are! 3. There several mechanisms which are proposed for adding information to the gene pool. Mutation is the most commonly known amongst laymen, but biologist have suggested several more. You can read about them online. Use google! 4. There is no evidence of a worldwide flood. There is evidence of tectonic movement. Take a college biology class instead of spouting creationist propaganda!

Make America Stupid Again

As a science teacher in the usa, I face the stupidity of people who support this kind of petition everyday. Even the catholic church accepts evolutionary theory. Not everyone believes in your god. Evolutionary germ theory is used to make new vaccines every year. Evolution is not controversial. It's not on it's last legs. It's basic science. Stop being so threatened by science. Science made your cell phone, the medicine you take for your illnesses, the polyester in the threads of your shirt and the tires on your car.

We must preserve ignorance.

To teach only evolution is sheer indoctrination. Let children have the key facts, which are:- 1. No evidence of a single 'missing link' 2. complex creatures everywhere in the fossil record with no evidence of their antecedents 3. No biological mechanism for adding new information to the gene pool 4. overwhelming evidence from the fossil record and sedimentary rocks of catastrophic flooding. Then let children make up their own minds

Great idea! Let's also teach the truth that balancing humors is better than this goofy "medicine". Hey -- let's replace Obummercare with leaches!

Evolution is a product of scientific reason and goes against our Christian ideals.

Rick Sanchez thinks the only thing dumber than the petition is the person who wrote it.
