Who in the NOP is responsible for ignoring the NOSB's recccomendation ? It's well known what corporations "influence" the USDA the most .Certified Organic should represent the original intent of the program and not the interest of large commercial farms

Soil is the greathest wealth on planet earth, and now most people tend to just forget it actually exist... Now let's just try to remember that all foods should originate from the soil, and that soil is not "dirty" or" filthy" but is actually more valuable then any gem, like Gallileo Saïd...

No nutrient injected water system can ever duplicate the living soil with all its trace minerals and biota- let's keep hydroponic its own category without calling it equivalent to a soil grown plant.

Sorry----food grown not in soil but in another medium is an animal of a different stripe and certainly does not fall into the traditional definition of organic food. It needs its own classification, its own category. Do not treat this fork in the road lightly since many other decisions will doubtless follow out of it. Best to set your feet in the right place, right?!
Yes, make no mistake, hydroponic food can not be labelled and offered and certified using the same standards as organic food since its a different, manmade creation, a different animal. Please hear this request and don't brush it aside lightly as is the habit of organizations such as yours.
