These model 62te needs to be recalled and rebuild at no cost to the costumer, since you are recalling newer ones these 2008 ones need to be recalled as well

FCA/Stellantis must take ownership of this crappy transmission and issue a proper recall to fix the design issue. Just cannot take this hard shifting anymore. 2017 GC with 83k miles.

The 62TE transmission in my 2011 Chrysler 200 Limited 3.6 V6 was rebuilt by Sun Devil Auto Repair in Phoenix, AZ in May 2020. Also the shop replaced all motor mounts and a trans mount. Right out of the gate, the clunk from reverse to drive was noted. Surging occurs during upshifts from 1st to 2nd and then to 3rd gear. When coming to a stop, the downshift sequence is hesitant at best. The cost to rebuild was $3688.00 and $445.00 for the mounts.

I own a 2014 Chrysler t&c and I am having issues with the 62te transmission as well it stalls when I come to a stop, harsh shifting etc. I have took the vehicle into the dealership and have mentioned the issues way before my warranty was up and they just pass the buck and claim it because of the updates etc. Its just a big run around with those people and frankly I dont trust them. I am mechanically inclined and what they are doing is wrong they need to recall these transmissions or figure out what's wrong with them. It could be the same issue with the pump like the 2015-2016 models only Chrysler Corp knows.

2010 Dodge Journey all wheel drive seem to be running smooth up to 120000 Mi put it in reverse clunk clunk transmission fluid everywhere. Had it towed do the dealership can't wait to find out but from what I read here probably the torque converter if it was leaking fluid internally I would never see it and it would just fail you can't even check it has no dipstick dealer service only and no nothing came on to say there was any problem at all there was no lights Bells whistles codes nothing no check engine light nothing. No prior warning whatsoever just put it in reverse and clunk clunk transmission fluid

My 62TE has issues and I only have 40,000 miles on the van! Transmission gets stuck in one gear, will not shirt correctly, and simply isn’t a smooth ride.
