Lots of space available at Cornelius Park for a dedicated pickleball park. Wished all tennis courts were lined for pickleball.

I am a 17-year-old player. I have never really been able to play indoors at community centers because the hours were too short and limited to during school. By building dedicated courts in Mooresville (indoor and outdoor), I predict that more Mooresville youth will take up pickleball. Additionally, I look forward to the day that Special Olympics through the Town of Mooresville can practice on public, dedicated pickleball courts. It's a sport for all. I've seen people of all ages and physical abilities playing together. It's great for community building and allows people that wouldn't be able to play other sports to get active.

I am a 14 year old competitive pickleball player from Mooresville, NC. Like the above article read, pickleball is in high demand, with more and more people getting interested every day. With such high demand the courts are getting too crowded and too hard to access in general. Over the last few months my family has considered moving to Florida to enhance the access of dedicated courts as well as players. I would love to see more courts and play accessible to all of Mooresville and surrounding areas.

I feel that converting the 2 tennis courts at Cornelius part is a great idea. Since the lights are already installed there. I drive from Mooresville or Charlotte at least twice a week to play on dedicated courts.
