19 times the train blew its horn leaving norman headed to the first crossing in moore . Bit excessive if you ask me

The train horn noise significantly impact the quality of our lives, I have a 18 month old, who got woken up super early in the morning from the train horn all the time. We are miserable because of it.

At least by the neighborhood. We are woken almost nightly.

I’ve witnessed moore trains blowing their horns in the middle of the night 24 times on some occasions. It feels like the engineers have a vendetta against people sleeping soundly in their homes. If Norman can ban horns and they have higher instances of train accidents before their horn ban that moore then we should have a ban here too.

They only need to use it when there is an issue. We don’t care if you’re going through.

Please get them to stop. It wakes up residents in the middle of the night.

We have lived in Moore off 12th and Nail Parkway since 2000. My house is about 300 or so yards away from the tracks. The horn is so loud that it shakes the windows in the house. I spent over $12k to replace the windows in our home to try and cut the noise down, it worked some but it is still so loud that it will wake you up at night. My wife works at the hospital during the night and sleeps during the day and they will blow the horn for up to 25 seconds straight 5 to 6 times in a row. I have counted at night once and from midnight to 7am, I had 31 trains come by that night. I'm not sure who is lying about the number of trains that passed through Moore in a 24 hr period but I know it is more then what they are saying it is. This has to stop and stop now. I bet if it was the Mayor or the Gov. that had to listen to this every day it would have already been stopped.

The horns need to be silenced. The noise is absurd. Causes stress and results in loss of sleep. Decreases quality of life here in Moore.

I haven’t had a good nights sleep since moving to the area. The fact that This is legal is baffling to me.

I live on main Street, these horns are absolutely absurd, my wife and I have timed some of these conductors. The longest one we have timed so far has been more then 14 seconds long. Absolutely ridiculous.
