Please sign the official Equality for Kids Campaign Petition Accountability for AMC (Attorney for Minor Children) and GAL (Guardian Ad Lit em) Seeking More accountability to their respective clients, and or children for which they are representing. Including transparency and benchmarks, that lay out clear goals and objectives as well as a formula that assists the respective appointee in making a realistic recommendation to assist the court in the decisions for their clients, especially with regards to child custody and divorce cases. Develop a viable plan that has clear assist and or buy in from the clients that they represent, and or at least have taken the time to develop a relationship/ and or understanding of the client/clients whom they are seeking a decision for, that will effect the minor child/children with long term implications. Selection of a AMC/GAL should be age appropriate, and culturally diverse with respect to the specific minor child/children involved. Incorporate blended families, other siblings from other relationships, marriages, and or relatives that should be strongly interviewed and considered when developing a realistic plan, and coming to a decision with regards to the "Best Interest of the Child." Encourage user friendly and kid friendly legislation that ensures ( immediate temporary court orders) that all children will have equitable access to both parents, regardless of their marital status and or the position of the case, as long as their is no substantiated violence on the child/children.
