Montana Judicial Oversight

Our Family Court system is so severely broken. The lawyers see it. They community sees it. The children involved see it. The rules and boundaries am of the law is being rewritten by judges. Our legislature cannot cure the defects in our precedents. Family are broken. Prejudiced, and decent parents are destroyed by false documents, false narratives, and it accepted by the courts. The place we go looking for the relief is a trap designed to entertain and reward chaos, and cure violations through compounding the errors.

I have a friend struggling with problems of this nature

We need to ensure accountability and remove ego and assumptions and get back GM the rule of law.

Self-Governing is not working for the judicial branch. The lack of accountability for any of these things that have been happening in our justice system throughout Montana is appalling. We have a judge. Amy Eddy who is tearing up families. Giving third parties parental rights when the parents are fit and there are no substantiated CPS allegations. There are so many things that are happening in her court and then there are the courts in Butte that are doing things like allowing child sex abuser have access to a 2-year-old and a third party who is not a biological parent getting parent rights when the parents are fit. It's criminal and needs to be corrected. The current system is protecting the judges and not the public.

Make justice just.

Cps is trying to keep my kids in the system and I didn’t do anything wrong but use constitutional rights.

Legislation was passed in 2023 making the term "fiktive kin" equal to family members who are eligible to care for the child in CPS custody. this is destroying families? something that legislators and politicians tout about whenever the speak to voters and the population of Montana they talk about family values, how can placing a child whose mother passed away with "fiktive kin" represent family values or make families stronger? My grand daughter is 11 and she has a large family and her grandparents are licensed kinship placement but she has been placed with a non family member? my daughter died last November and this has been an incredible ordeal! it's a living nightmare! I have written the Governor, the Ombudsman, Senator Theresa Manzella, Dennis Lenz and spoken to Nikki Grossberg and they brush this off which to me shows no respect for family values or decent morals! we are going to be at the mercy of Judge Whelan in Butte district court for a so called contested placement. We had to higher a private attorney which we were told by CPS agent Annie Rebiero that she is not sure we are allowed to have an attorney, there is not statue that states this! CPS is being allowed to basically steal my only grandchild from my deceased daughter Samantha Kate Lien. This is the definition of insanity. Our family and our friends cannot believe this is happening! Child Protective Services is a power hungry department that has been given the freedom to do as they please under the guise that this is what is best for my grand daughter! how can the state of Montana stand by and let this continue?

The judiciary is rigged and I can prove it. I've got a case currently before the Supreme Court. They are denying my ability to participate as an individual pro-se. The case is for malpractice against the largest attorney firm in Montana, Crowley Fleck. The juduciary is trying to exonerate Crowley Fleck in the matter and have now painted themselves into a corner. I am exposing this for the rigged system that it is. Judge West in Bozeman, Montana is a crooked individual that impeded justice by denying me my constitutional right to a fair hearing and violated Montana law by not recording my hearing or allowing me to prove my case.

There is no doubt that MT's judiciary is an out of control monopoly.

Bad judicial misconduct, may need to go on offense. We need a larger commission of we the people to review complaints and hold accountable, these are crimes that harm people, must file claims against the insurance carriers, and move to federal district courts.

I have first hand knowledge of the exploitation of judicial misconduct that has been ignored by anyone in a position to remedy the situation. It is inexcusable to allow the buddy system to be the only accountability for those who weild unlimited power over the lives of citizens. Its like having the fox guard the hen house. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Something has to change! This corruption goes further than most know. I was treated illegally and unconstitutionally in Ravalli county justice court and laughed at by Judicial Standards Commission Would love to help expose this at the county level Feel free to contact me [email protected]

I fully support the restructuring of the Montana JSC. The corruption needs to be stopped.

Seems like a simple solution. Why would anyone oppose transparency?

Any hint of accountability would be refreshing…

It's far past time to end the corruption in our courts.

We also need a list of all MT Judges legislating from the bench to hold them accountable
