The pond is disgusting you can smell the water from across the street, fish are always dead on the sides of the water. It would be a nice place for people in the halifax area to swim in.Its not even enjoyable to look at because its disgusting and smells like dead fish.

As a child spent many days swimming there, now you cannot do that without endangering your health. Let's clean up all the ponds in the area.

It is ridiculous that this issue isn't resolved. I have not been able to swim in the lake since my son was a year old. He's 11 now. Beyond "long enough".

I live in Halifax. I plan on raising my son here for years to come. The world is bad enough. It would be nice to not have to add contaminated water to that list I have to worry about.

That lake should be the town's pride, rather than the town's shame. Pripyat has better looking lakes.
