It appears that Brockton has ignored the concerns regarding Monponsett Pond for years. It's time this stops.

We lived in Plymouth, and So. Weymouth. Part of the absolute beauty of New England, is the pristine beauty of the ponds and lakes.

This qualifies as as an active health risk. This spreads fast in warm weather. I got a question for the aquatic labs at UMass Boston is this an emergency?

Beautiful lake, but in desperate need if some attention. Grew up and still use this lake on occasion, shame to see its condition and health risks to anyone who is around or using it

I used to live on monponsette and would go boating and you could tell when it got to hot out you could smell the bacteria just baking in the sun pretty grose.

This happens to Furance Pond in Pembroke Ma as well. There are lots of poeple that live or have lived on that pond that have CANCER and who have died of CANCER. Also lots of pregnant mother that have lost there babies in the 3rd trimester....check the satistics on residence of Furance Pond and you will be mind blown.
