My kids have been bullied on the bus one to many times. And having moniters on a bus could prevent that. One of these days a kid is gonna really get hurt by one of these bullies.

My grandson was seriously hurt on a Joshua ISD school bus. I don't want any child or their parents to go through what we had to go through.

Supposedly my kid's bus driver got the "best driver" award last year, which I assume is based on his driving skills and NOT on how the students on his bus behave. I cannot count the amount of times my kids got off the bus telling me stories of kids hitting others, stepping on other's belongings (backpacks,glasses,etc.). There was even an incident where a 5 year old (yes I said 5) pulled his pants down, showing his genitalia, and told girls to kiss it!!! This is absolutely unacceptable behavior, and if the driver can't handle it alone (which they obviously can't), something should be done!!!!

Having a monitor on every bus would help with all the unnecessary bullying on buses !

Most other districts have this, and it's highly useful. This will help not only the children but the bus driver and the school.

I have 2 kids in JISD and 2 more headed there when they are of age. I think this is a great idea.

They say they can't afford paid bus monitors. I say they can't afford not to have them.

It took 5-10 minutes for a bus driver to notice my brother was knocked out on a Joshua ISD bus
