Currently, the state of ProfessorLoki's discord server is a rather sorry one. Rampant trolls, message deleters, and other barrel-slime are actively lowering the group IQ and the quality of server conversations. ShadowtheShade, while an honorable mod, unfortunately has more important matters to attend and cannot take on the job full time. This is where I would come in. #ModBaggins, or #Modggins for short, is the movement promoting BBagginsMcSwaggins as the most viable & appealing candidate for the position of more active moderator for the server.

Baggins is a human with quality standards, people skills & good moral guidelines, a stalwart supporter of the reign of order without the stifling of creativity. Baggins would be a front-line promoter of the general public welfare on the server platform, and would maintain peace across inter-user arguments & spats. With him at the helm of the server, alongside the veteran advice from Shadow and the guiding hand of the Professor himself, the discord community we all dwell in would grow and thrive.

However, there is 1 aspect that should be addressed promptly; That of Baggins' main rival, Mani. Mani also has a petition running for the moderator position. While I fully support and applaud Mani's decision to campaign, I cannot support his bid for moderation for a set of 3 reasons.
Firstly, his grammar is a known weakness and one that doesn't provide the most outstanding face to his overall human sophistication.
Secondly, Mani himself has been known to post memes in the #general chat! What form of mod would he be, if he commits the very same acts we would elevate him to prevent?
Thirdly, his own petition text contains slander and outright lies! Do you truly believe Mani could stop world hunger by simply being a discord moderator? Do you think that he's able to spend 25 hours a day online, when there are only 24 hours in any given day? Not to mention, his petition implies that he has the highest comprehension of English on the server! This has already been debunked publicly by no other than myself.

Truly, Baggins is the only true candidate for moderator status, and every vote for Baggins is a vote for a healthy, peaceful discord server that promotes active discussion and conversation, without allowing room for nasty confrontations or attacks.
