I really do not see the point of being so strict with the shoes and P.E recruitments.
The importance of education is more about prepare our children in the cognitive and behavioural side to build per to per the future of our society.

I don’t feel it is reasonable or hygienic to HAVE to wear tights all year round, regardless of the weather. Ankle socks can still look smart with a skirt.

Schools should be working with parents to meet the child's best interests, not their own, outdated, agendas.
Honestly, what is wrong with a plain, black trainer, socks instead of tights, and a pair of tailored shorts? Nothing, that's what!

The whole reasoning behind the change in footwear is shocking and I believe to be untrue. Us parents weren’t asked as usual.

With a year 8 son with size 11 feet; Shoes, trainers and football boots is going to be £200-£300 pounds. And he can grown a size in a year. So thats actually £400-600 on shoes alone a year. They really need to reconsider this.

I work for a worldwide, multi billion pound, German, corporate organisation who have in recent years overhauled their office dress code etiquette to allow trainers and smart shirts for men in hot weather. Let’s educate our children on the changing culture of the workplace and prepare them for life after school.
Worst uniform ever.
